Printpack, a major manufacturer of flexible packaging products, will close its plant in Farmingdale, NY, USA, at the end of June. The Farmingdale facility, acquired by Printpack in 2006, was formerly Seal-It Inc. According to documents filed with the New York State Department of Labor, the plant employed 225 people as of June 2009, when layoffs began.
